Production Planning Engineer

What does the job consist?

Job Description:- Plan and present daily, weekly production activities in the semiconductor Fab.- Develop production schedules based on customer demand, production capacity, WIP levels, equipment availability, and delivery requirements.- Monitor Lots daily movement through steps/layers to ensure targets are achieved.-  Coordinate closely with Operations, Process, Equipment Engineering, Yield Engineering, Quality, and Order Management teams.- Monitor production performance and identify issues affecting output, target fulfillment and OTD.- Adjust/control production plans according to equipment downtime, process constraints, material availability, and priorities changing.- Analyze production data and provide recommendations to improve throughput, capacity utilization, and cycle time.- Report preparation and communicate production status, risks, and recovery plans to relevant stakeholders.- Participate in CIP related to Fab productivity, WIP control, cycle-time reduction, on hold lots disposition and production efficiency.

Requirements & qualifications

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in IE, Manufacturing Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Semiconductor Engineering, or a related field.- Over 3 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing, wafer Fab, production planning, production control, or a related field.- Candidates with good understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes and flow are strongly preferred.- Knowledge of WIP management, production scheduling, capacity planning, and cycle-time management.- Proficient in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Power BI. Knowledge of Gemini is an advantage.- Good in presentation, communication and coordination skills.- Able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and in Swing shift.
