Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning of production floors, machinery, and workstations using appropriate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers and scrubbers.
• Handle chemical agents safely while performing sanitation tasks, adhering strictly to chemical handling safety procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness of common areas, restrooms, break rooms, and locker rooms to ensure compliance with sanitation standards.

• Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed to support overall plant operations and ensure a safe working environment.

Experience

• Prior janitorial or custodial experience in industrial or commercial settings is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, scrubbers, and vacuums.
• Knowledge of chemical agent handling and safety procedures related to sanitation products.
• Experience with heavy lifting and manual handling techniques aligned with safe lifting practices.
• Customer service skills are a plus for interacting professionally with team members and visitors when necessary.
• Background in industrial cleaning or facilities maintenance is advantageous.
• Ability to follow detailed safety protocols consistently while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
