Production Project Manager

My client is a global leader in live event technology and production services, delivering outstanding experiences for some of the world's most recognised brands, venues, broadcasters, and event organisers.

They are looking for an experienced Freelance Production / Project Manager to join their onsite team in Belgium and take ownership of technical project delivery from planning through to execution.

Responsibilities :

• Manage multiple production projects simultaneously, ensuring successful delivery on time and within budget
• Create and review technical drawings and layouts using Vectorworks
• Produce and maintain detailed gear sheets , equipment schedules, and project documentation
• Develop and manage Bills of Materials (BOMs)
• Coordinate lighting, rigging, video, staging, and technical production requirements
• Liaise with internal departments, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution
• Manage project timelines, resources, and logistics
• Support project delivery throughout planning, build, live operation, and breakdown phases
• Identify and mitigate project risks while maintaining exceptional quality standards

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years' relevant experience within live events, entertainment technology, technical production, exhibitions, or related industries
• Strong experience using Vectorworks
• Proven background in lighting systems and technical event production
• Experience creating and managing gear sheets and Bills of Materials (BOMs)
• Strong understanding of production workflows and technical documentation
• Excellent organisational and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Fluent English communication skills
