Production QC Assistant / Officer

About the role

We are an established food manufacturing company specializing in frozen freshwater fish products. We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Production QC to join our team, ensuring that all products meet our strict food safety and quality standards on the production line.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct routine checks on the production line to ensure food processing adheres to standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Perform inspections on raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished frozen fish products from receiving to final packaging
• Monitor and record Critical Control Points (CCPs) regularly, including freezing temperatures, processing times, and hygiene conditions to prevent spoilage
• Fill out daily production and quality logs accurately, maintaining records that support factory audit readiness for regulatory bodies like KKM
• Assist in checking stock conditions and ensuring proper storage and traceability labels of frozen food items

About you

• SPM / STPM / O-Level / Diploma in Food Science or any related field
• Prior experience in Food Production or Quality Control is a plus
• Basic understanding of food safety concepts (HACCP, GMP, KKM guidelines) is an advantage
• High attention to detail, disciplined, and responsible
• Willing to work in Sarawak and commit to the required working hours
