Production Senior Engineer

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

1.      To guide and lead Supervisor & Leader to control staff perform job in production line by make sure they follow working instruction (WI) and also follow strictly Safety and Health Regulation and Procedure.

2.      May be responsible as leader to ensure Safety, 5S and housekeeping of Production department work area in order and also plan for improvement.

3.      Participate/lead the development of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE & I) training plans to ensure the engineering and technical teams foster a collaborative, respectful, and hight-performing culture

4.      Leading the evaluation, procurement, and integration of major facility upgrades or new production lines

5.      Oversee/responsible on the improvement plan base on QCDMS to meet Company Vision and team.

6.      Serving as the highest level of technical escalation for intractable defects in highly technical processes

7.      To liaise with Customer Auditor/Internal Auditor and reflect Countermeasure / Improvement for Production Department.

8.      Oversee production new model development, facility and production line.

9.      To lead the study of process design and process layout with maximum work efficiency.

10.   Guiding, training and reviewing the work of junior production engineers and process technicians

11.   To make sure department operation following IATF 16949 & ISO 14001.

12.   Applying Six Sigma principles and Lean methodologies (like 5S, Kaizen, and Kanban) to eliminate waste, reduce cycle times, and improve material flow

13.   To guide and lead Executive/Engineer to maintain, check, control and monitor good condition of production machines and equipment and also consumables

14.   Conducting rigorous capital budgeting analysis for any production improvement project where capital investment is necessary

15.   To oversee any activity in identifying the need for new machinery or technology to improve capacity or quality

16.   To oversee activity related to establish/maintain any Production Process Document for all New Model or revised document (Control Plan, WI/SOP, OPL, Training)

17.   Responsible as a Team Member of APQP representative for Production Department

18.   To perform other tasks as and when required by Superior/Management from time to time

19.   To drive, implement, and maintain the company’s Management System to ensure compliance with applicable standards and to successfully achieve and sustain relevant certifications

JOB REQUIREMENTS :

• Academic Qualifications - Degree/Diploma in Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing Process and System
• Experience - minimum 5 years related working experiences
• Key Skills/ Knowledges - IATF 16949, MS Office, CAD Software, QC Tools, KAIZEN, Analytical, problem-solving & critical thinking skills
