PRODUCTION SENIOR SUPERVISOR

About the role

SP Manufacturing is seeking an experienced Production Senior Supervisor to join our manufacturing operations team division wire harness. This is a full-time position based in Batam, Kota Riau Islands, where you will take on a strategic leadership role overseeing production activities and leading a team of supervisors and production staff. As a Senior Supervisor, you will be instrumental in driving operational efficiency, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring that all production targets are met whilst fostering a safe and productive work environment. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on our manufacturing performance and contribute to the continued success of SP Manufacturing.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily production operations and coordinate with multiple production shifts to ensure targets are met consistently
• Supervise and mentor a team of supervisors and production staff, providing guidance and performance feedback
• Monitor production quality standards and implement corrective actions when deviations occur
• Maintain and enforce health, safety and environmental compliance across the production floor
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce operational costs
• Manage production scheduling and resource allocation to optimize workflow efficiency
• Conduct regular safety briefings and training sessions for the production team
• Prepare and analyze production reports, including output metrics, downtime analysis and quality data
• Collaborate with other departments including maintenance, quality assurance and logistics to ensure seamless operations
• Address and resolve production-related issues promptly and escalate matters when necessary

What we're looking for

• Min. 5+ years of experience in manufacturing production supervision or a senior supervisory role within a manufacturing environment
• Proven track record of successfully managing production teams and achieving operational targets
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, production planning and quality control systems
• Excellent understanding of health, safety and environmental (HSE) regulations and best practices
• Demonstrated ability to identify inefficiencies and implement continuous improvement initiatives
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members
• Proficiency in using production management systems and data analysis tools
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to make decisions under pressure
• Fluency in English is highly desirable
• Experience in ISO standards and lean manufacturing methodologies is preferred
