Production Shift Chemist

Job Purpose Supervise and execute daily batch manufacturing operations in the API plant while ensuring strict compliance with WHO-GMP standards, safety guidelines, and production timelines. Key Responsibilities

• Shift Operations: Supervise chemical processes, handle shop-floor manpower, and execute batches as per production schedules.
• Equipment Handling: Operate and clean SS/Glass-Lined Reactors, Centrifuges, Dryers (Tray/Vacuum), Blenders, and Sifters.
• Documentation: Fill and maintain Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR), Batch Production Records (BPR), and equipment logs accurately.
• Compliance & Safety: Maintain strict line clearance, manage hazardous chemicals safely, and ensure adherence to safety rules.
• Quality Control: Monitor running process parameters and report any deviations immediately to QA/QC teams.

Requirements

• Education: B.Sc / M.Sc (Chemistry) or BE Chemical / ME Chemical.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in an API or Bulk Drug manufacturing plant.
• Skills: Strong knowledge of batch operations, distillation, filtration, drying, and instrument calibration.
• Flexibility: Must be willing to work in rotational day and night shifts.

Pay: ₹9,700.00 - ₹37,000.00 per month
