Job Summary:

As a Shift Supervisor, you will take charge of shift operations, leading a diverse team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Your mission will be to uphold our high standards for safety, quality, and productivity while fostering a positive and collaborative workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership: Supervise, guide, and coordinate team members during assigned shifts to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
• Performance Management: Monitor staff performance, providing constructive feedback and coaching to enhance productivity, quality, and morale.
• Operational Oversight: Deploy resources effectively to achieve production goals, maintain quality standards, and resolve operational challenges.
• Training & Development: Assist in onboarding and training new employees, ensuring they are well-versed in company procedures, safety practices, and quality standards.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure adherence to company policies, health and safety regulations, and industry standards, fostering a culture of safety and accountability.
• Reporting & Analysis: Prepare detailed reports on shift performance, including production metrics, downtime analysis, and improvement opportunities.
• Continuous Improvement: Actively contribute to initiatives aimed at improving processes, equipment reliability, housekeeping, and operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of supervisory or management experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the paper or similar industries.
• Leadership: Strong ability to inspire, motivate, and develop a diverse team.
• Problem-Solving: Excellent troubleshooting skills with a proven ability to think critically and make sound decisions under pressure.
• Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to facilitate effective collaboration across all levels of the organization.
• Adaptability: Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
