Production Staff

About the role

LEC Steel Manufacturing Corp. is seeking a Production Staff member to join our manufacturing team in Quezon City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in our steel manufacturing operations. As Production Staff, you will be responsible for executing manufacturing processes, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring efficient production schedules. Your contributions will directly impact our ability to deliver high-quality steel products to our clients on time and within specification.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and monitor steel manufacturing equipment and machinery in accordance with established standard operating procedures
• Perform routine maintenance checks and report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisory staff
• Inspect finished products for quality defects and ensure all output meets company and customer specifications
• Follow production schedules and work instructions to maintain consistent output targets
• Maintain accurate records of production data, material usage, and shift activities
• Coordinate with other production team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of orders
• Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental protocols established by the company
• Identify and report opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains
• Support inventory management and material handling activities as assigned

What we're looking for

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably in steel or metal manufacturing
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality standards
• Ability to operate machinery safely and follow standard operating procedures
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Physical capability to perform manual labour and stand for extended periods
• Reliability and punctuality with a strong work ethic
• Willingness to work shifts, including early morning, evening, or weekend schedules as required
• Experience with production scheduling systems or quality control processes is advantageous
• Relevant industry certifications or training courses are preferred but not essential
