Production Superintendent

1. Production Planning & Execution

• Manage and monitor daily production activities according to the production plan.
• Ensure production output meets the company’s targets and standards.
• Optimize the use of manpower, materials, machines, and production time.
• Identify and resolve issues that may affect production performance and smooth operations.

2. Operational Excellence

• Implement programs to improve productivity and operational efficiency.
• Analyze production downtime, losses, and bottlenecks.
• Develop and implement continuous improvement programs, including Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, TPM, and other improvement initiatives.

3. Quality Management

• Ensure all products meet the required quality standards.
• Coordinate with the Quality team to address product non-conformities.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

4. Safety, Health & Environment (SHE)

• Ensure all production activities comply with SHE standards and company regulations.
• Monitor the implementation of safety procedures in the production area.
• Participate in incident investigations and implement corrective actions.

5. Leadership & People Management

• Lead and supervise the production team to achieve departmental targets.
• Provide coaching, mentoring, and competency development for team members.
• Manage employee discipline, performance evaluation, and manpower requirements.

6. Reporting & Coordination

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports.
• Monitor production KPIs and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Coordinate with related departments, including Maintenance, Planning, Quality, Warehouse, and Engineering.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor 's Degree in Chemical Engineering.
• Min. 2-3 years experience in production or manufacturing, preferably in FMCG industry.
• Understanding of equipment and processes used in FMCG production, such as mixing, filling, packaging, and quality control.
• Ability to analyze production data, identify bottlenecks, and implement process improvements.
• Familiarity with industry standard (i.e. GMP, ISO).
• Ability to manage, train, and motivate a team of operators.
• Quick decision-making abilities and skills to handle production issues effectively.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for reporting, team briefings, and coordination with other departments.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changes in production schedules or processes.
