Production Supervisor- 2nd Shift

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Supervisor to oversee daily manufacturing operations within our facility. The ideal candidate will ensure production efficiency, maintain safety standards, and lead a team of assembly line workers. This role requires strong mechanical knowledge, leadership skills, and familiarity with factory environments to optimize manufacturing processes and uphold quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate activities on the manufacturing floor, ensuring production goals are met efficiently and safely.
• Oversee assembly line operations, including the use of hand tools, power tools, and mechanical equipment.
• Manage warehouse activities such as inventory control, material handling, and equipment movement.
• Operate and oversee forklift operations to facilitate material transport within the facility.
• Train and mentor team members on proper assembly techniques, safety procedures, and equipment use.
• Conduct regular inspections of machinery and tools to ensure proper maintenance and safety compliance.
• Collaborate with quality assurance teams to uphold product standards and address any production issues promptly.
• Implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste in the manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in manufacturing or factory settings, preferably in a supervisory role.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, and assembly line equipment.
• Warehouse experience including forklift operation is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with factory safety protocols and ability to enforce safety standards across teams.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team of workers.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues quickly and effectively.
• Prior experience working with assembly lines in a manufacturing facility is preferred.
