Production Supervisor

McBride Corporation is looking for a hands-on and technically skilled Production Supervisor to oversee daily plant operations, ensure efficient production, and lead the production team in achieving safety, quality, and productivity targets.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervise and monitor daily plant production and manufacturing operations.
• Ensure production targets, quality standards, and delivery schedules are achieved.
• Lead, coach, and monitor production personnel and ensure proper manpower allocation.
• Monitor machine performance and coordinate with Maintenance/Engineering for machine breakdowns and technical concerns.
• Ensure proper implementation of preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Monitor production efficiency, downtime, rejects, scrap, and other production KPIs.
• Identify production issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, GMP, and quality standards.
• Prepare and review production reports and recommend process improvements.
• Coordinate with QA, Maintenance, Warehouse, and other departments to ensure smooth plant operations.
• Ensure proper housekeeping and implementation of 5S within the production area.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or other related courses.
• At least 2–3 years of experience in production supervision or manufacturing operations.
• Experience in plastic/PET manufacturing, injection molding, or blow molding is an advantage.
• With strong knowledge of production processes, manufacturing operations, and production planning.
• Willing to work on a shifting schedule.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

• Knowledgeable in Injection Molding and/or Blow Molding processes.
• Knowledge of PET preform and bottle manufacturing processes is an advantage.
• Familiar with machine operation, troubleshooting, and basic equipment diagnostics.
• Knowledgeable in preventive and corrective maintenance concepts.
• Able to monitor and analyze machine downtime, production efficiency, rejects, scrap, and other production KPIs.
• Knowledge of OEE, production monitoring, and process improvement is an advantage.
• Familiar with 5S, GMP, and basic quality control principles.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, for production monitoring and reporting.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
• Hands-on approach in handling machine, manpower, material, and production process concerns.
