Production Supervisor

Main responsibilities

Environmental Health and Safety (EHS):

• To ensure all activities comply with all IATF16949, ISO14001, ISO45001, EHS rules/ regulations and RC requirements.
• Maintain a safe working environment and operate safely to support work safety and efficient production activities according to plant safety regulations as well as Company EHS guidelines, RC Requirements and Quality and Energy management system.
• Monitor the EHS and working behavior of operators to reach safe and qualified operating conditions.
• Ensure that all employees follow Company rules and regulation and work instructions by employee dialogue, training, routine check and supervision.
• Ensure safety equipment is in good condition and ready to use.

Production and People management:

• To plan, organize, control, and track all production activities by coordinating with SCM, QC, WH, TC and internal Production team to achieve department objectives.
• Manages manpower and daily production meeting to distribute and give clear instruction of daily jobs to operators.
• Manages manufacturing to ensure product quality, highest yield, cost effective and on time delivery.
• Initiates or suggests plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals.
• Daily monitors down time.
• Controls overtime as required.
• Manages and provide labels to related teams.
• To report the problems, failures in time and join discussion the improvement measures. Assist in the execution of improvement measures.
• Performs statistical analysis to identify failure root cause, improve productivity and improve quality. Interpret and communicate failure analysis data.
• Response for inventory taking and participate in the root cause analysis of difference. Responsible for execution of corrective measures.
• Performs related SAP topic.
• Support audits and other duties as assigned.

Improvement:

• Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of products with LEAN and Kaizen methodology.
• Support the related improvement projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of production experience, preferably in the chemical industry.
• Strong planning and management skills.
• Fair command of written and spoken English.
• Computer literacy proficiency.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
