Production Supervisor

What you'll be doing

• Supervise and coordinate daily production activities across assigned manufacturing units, ensuring targets are met and deadlines are maintained
• Monitor production processes and equipment to ensure compliance with standard operating procedures, quality standards, and regulatory requirements
• Lead, train, and motivate production teams, providing guidance, performance feedback, and support for professional development
• Conduct regular inspections of manufacturing equipment and facilities to identify maintenance needs and report equipment malfunctions promptly
• Maintain detailed production records, documentation, and batch logs in accordance with pharmaceutical regulations and company policies
• Implement and enforce safety protocols, ensuring a safe working environment for all team members and compliance with occupational health and safety standards
• Coordinate with quality assurance teams to resolve production issues and implement corrective actions when necessary
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality
• Ensure proper inventory management of raw materials and finished products within assigned production areas
• Report production metrics, variances, and issues to senior management and participate in regular production meetings

What we're looking for

• Graduate of any Engineering/Science Courses or BS Pharmacy
• Preferably with experience in pharmaceutical or chemical manufacturing production environments
• Demonstrated experience supervising or leading production teams in a regulated manufacturing setting
• Strong knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) principles and pharmaceutical regulatory requirements
• Sound understanding of pharmaceutical production processes, equipment operation, and maintenance procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across multiple departments
• Strong organizational and time management capabilities to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality, safety, and compliance standards
• Willingness to work shifts, including potential weekend or holiday schedules as required by operational needs
