Production Supervisor

Oversee and ensure entire production process and facilities meet the sanitation and quality standards and delivery schedule set by client.

Responsibilities include training of employees, planning, assigning & directing work, appraising performance, addressing complaints and resolving work related problems.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Ensure work daily work progress in accordance with established procedure and quality standards.
2. Determine sequence for production.
3. Coordinate with the material management group to ensure the availability of raw materials.
4. Train all workers in all aspects of production in order to allow flexibility in times of workers absences and vacation leaves.
5. Coordinating shifts, arranging schedules and monitoring employee performance.
6. Recommend and prepare Incident Report for employees found violating company policies.
7. Enforce safety regulations and interprets company policies to employees as applicable.
8. Report machine breakdown to maintenance to ensure minimum downtime.
9. Provide directions and assign tasks to subordinates.
10. Ensure regulatory compliance as appropriate.
11. Identify cost cutting measures.
12. Develop a work environment within manufacturing that promotes trust, teamwork quality and safety.

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Specialization: BS in Food Technology.
• Related working experience in Food Manufacturing company. Bakery experience is preferred but not required.
• Proven understanding of production, operations, and manufacturing requirements.
• Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
• Proven time management skills.
• Working knowledge of MS applications including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and ability to grasp additional business related applications.
• Must be available to be assigned to varying shifts.
