Production Supervisor

About the role

As a Supervisor in the Wood Processing Department at Swiss Sense Worldwide Inc., you will play a crucial role in overseeing the efficient and high-quality production of our premium wood furniture (beds). This full-time position is based in our manufacturing facility in Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu, where you will lead a team of skilled wood processors to ensure we deliver exceptional products to our customers.

What you'll be doing

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the wood processing team to meet production targets and quality standards
• Monitor and optimise the wood processing workflow to identify and address any bottlenecks or inefficiencies
• Provide hands-on training and coaching to team members to develop their skills and ensure consistent work quality
• Implement and maintain safety protocols to create a safe work environment for the team
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of finished products
• Analyse production data and provide regular reports to management
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our wood processing operations

What we're looking for

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment
• Strong technical knowledge of processing equipment, tools, and techniques
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills to address production challenges
• Ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve goals and maintain high standards
• Proficient in reading technical drawings and interpreting production data
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to communicate top management
• Commitment to safety and quality in the workplace
