Production Supervisor

About the role

BITE ME UP CDO FOOD CORP. is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to join our manufacturing operations team. This is a full-time position based in Lumbia, Cagayan de Oro, Misamis Oriental. As Production Supervisor, you will play a critical role in overseeing daily production activities, ensuring operational efficiency, maintaining quality standards, and leading our production team to meet output targets. This position is essential to our commitment to delivering quality food products whilst optimising production processes and maintaining a safe, productive work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily production operations and ensure all staff adhere to established production schedules and protocols
• Monitor production output, quality standards, and efficiency metrics to meet or exceed departmental targets
• Lead, supervise and mentor production staff, providing guidance, training and performance feedback
• Conduct regular inspections of production lines, equipment and finished products to ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity, reduce waste and optimise resource utilisation
• Maintain accurate production records, logs and documentation as required by company policies and regulatory standards
• Liaise with other departments including quality assurance, planning and logistics to ensure seamless operations
• Respond promptly to production issues, troubleshoot problems and implement corrective actions
• Ensure all health, safety and environmental regulations are observed and promote a culture of workplace safety
• Manage inventory of production materials and communicate any supply requirements to relevant departments

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a Production Supervisor or similar supervisory role within a manufacturing or food production environment
• Strong knowledge of production processes, machinery operation and maintenance within the food industry
• Demonstrated ability to manage and motivate teams effectively, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Sound understanding of food safety standards, quality control procedures and relevant regulatory compliance requirements
• Proficiency in production planning, scheduling and inventory management
• Ability to analyse data, identify trends and implement process improvements
• Strong problem-solving capabilities and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure
• Attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety
• Proficiency in using production management software and Microsoft Office applications
• Willingness to work flexible hours including shift work if required by operational needs
• A valid driver's licence is preferred
