Production Supervisor

About the role

The Production Supervisor oversees daily production operations in a cosmetics manufacturing environment, ensuring production targets, quality standards, and delivery schedules are achieved while maintaining compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and oversee daily production operations to ensure production targets, quality standards, and delivery schedules are achieved
• Monitor production processes and ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), safety standards, and company policies
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate manpower, equipment, and materials to maximize production efficiency
• Ensure products are manufactured in accordance with approved formulations, specifications, and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Coordinate with the Quality Assurance (QA), Quality Control (QC), Warehouse, Regulatory, and Production Planning teams to ensure smooth operations
• Monitor production output, minimize downtime, reduce material wastage, and recommend process improvements
• Train, supervise, and evaluate production personnel to ensure productivity, discipline, and adherence to company policies
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports and maintain accurate production records
• Assist during internal audits, customer audits, and FDA inspections

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Pharmacy, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field
• At least 1-2 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the cosmetics, pharmaceutical, food, or personal care industry
• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), quality systems, and production planning
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Able to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
