Production Supervisor

Candidates are not required to have experience in all production processes. Experience in at least one of the following processes is acceptable:

• Body Assembly
• Automotive Painting
• Trim and Final Assembly

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and monitor production activities to achieve production schedules and targets.
• Manage manpower, machinery, equipment, materials, and production areas to ensure operational readiness.
• Control in-process quality and handle non-conforming products effectively.
• Analyze production problems and implement corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence.
• Control production costs, man-hours, line efficiency, and productivity.
• Prepare production processes for new projects, engineering trials, and Start of Production (SOP).
• Prepare and review production documents, including Work Instructions, Control Plans, Bills of Materials (BOM), and production standards.
• Improve production processes and line layouts to reduce waste, lower costs, and increase efficiency.
• Lead, supervise, coach, and evaluate production team members.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, 5S, and company management system requirements.
• Prepare production reports and communicate production performance, operational issues, and KPI results to relevant departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in manufacturing operations within the automotive or automotive parts industry is required.
• Proven experience supervising or managing a production team.
• Hands-on experience in at least one of the following processes: body assembly, automotive painting, or trim and final assembly.
• Good knowledge of production planning, quality control, and process improvement.
• Strong problem-solving, planning, communication, and cross-functional coordination skills.
• Good leadership skills with the ability to coach and develop production employees.
• Knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 9001, Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, or automotive quality management systems would be an advantage.
