Production Supervisor

JOB TITLE : Production supervisor (Sleeves)

DEPARTMENT : Production

LOCATION : Khopoli, Maharashtra

REPORTS TO : Production Manager

PURPOSE OF THIS JOB:

Responsible for all Sleeves Production activities that includes sleeve forming baking & packing ensuring all quality parameters (Quality) and in safe manner (Safety).

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES (MAJOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES)

• Organize workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedules, in shop floor, Check production output according to specifications and plan Identify issues in efficiency and suggest improvements.
• Monitor the in-process parameters in the shop floor for quality and quantity and maintain data in the Process cards as per, identify gaps to achieve targets and resolve the gaps.
• Responsible for meeting the Production schedule and maintaining the quality of products.

Implement Actions based on failure in production identify and fix with engineering support., record downtime data for analysis ensure machine runs efficiently. Planning materials to achieve daily production targets and maintain stocks in co-ordination with stores.

• Perform the task assigned in a safe manner. Follow safety protocols and instructions ensure PPE usage in shop floor conduct safety induction to operators and casuals in shop floor, maintain shop floor safety and suggest improvements. Training to team on safety dimensions on shop floor
• Understand Quality system and timely co-ordination with QC team to ensure product specifications are in line with customer requirements, maintain quality system in shop floor and identify deviations if any and report to manger, training to shop floor on quality dimensions.

c) Qualification Required:

• Diploma in Chemical /Mechanical

d) Training and Experience Required:

• Minimum 3 to 5 years of working experience as Production Supervisor process Operations.

Preferred -Sleeves manufacturing experience preferred.
