Production Supervisor

Job Summary:

The Production Supervisor is responsible for supporting and overseeing daily production activities to ensure that production targets, quality requirements, and operational efficiency goals are consistently achieved. This role assists in supervising manpower, monitoring equipment performance, ensuring material availability, and maintaining compliance with quality, safety, and operational standards.

The ideal candidate possesses strong leadership potential, technical knowledge of electronic manufacturing processes, and a passion for driving productivity and continuous improvement within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily production operations and personnel to achieve company targets, customer requirements, and compliance with safety and operating procedures.
• Promote and maintain a safe, efficient, and productive work environment.
• Ensure quality standards and customer satisfaction are consistently achieved.
• Monitor and achieve established KPIs and production targets.
• Coordinate with support departments on production planning, resource allocation, and issue resolution.
• Communicate production goals, quality, cost, and delivery updates through shift briefings and visual management tools.
• Lead, motivate, and develop team members to drive performance and continuous improvement.
• Support engineering changes, production trials, model changes, and pilot builds.
• Monitor equipment performance, coordinate maintenance activities, and support initiatives.
• Identify root causes of issues, implement corrective actions, and prevent recurrence.
• Continuously improve processes, productivity, and operational efficiency.
• Support on-time delivery requirements and resolution of customer concerns.
• Prepare and submit required daily, weekly, and monthly production reports, including production performance, KPI results, quality metrics, incidents, material assessments, and improvement activities.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned from time to time.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or any related field.
• Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in an SMT or PCB Assembly manufacturing environment.
• With at least 2 years of supervisory experience is required.
• With knowledge of production planning, quality control, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality and safety.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and reporting tools.
