Production Supervisor

About The Role

SHB Malaysia Automotive Appliance Sdn. Bhd. is part of a global group headquartered in China, specializing in the design and manufacture of automotive seating motors and wiper systems for leading car manufacturers worldwide. We are seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee daily production operations, lead production teams, and ensure production targets, quality standards, and delivery requirements are achieved.

What You’ll Be Doing

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to meet output, quality, and delivery targets.
• Monitor production schedules, manpower allocation, and equipment utilization to ensure efficient operations.
• Lead and motivate production operators and line leaders, including task assignment, training, attendance, and discipline management.
• Work closely with QA/QC, Engineering, Maintenance, and other departments to resolve production, quality, and equipment issues.
• Prepare production reports and support 5S, Lean, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, Production Management, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Production Supervisor or in a similar role within the Manufacturing industry.
• Good knowledge of production processes, quality control, manpower management, and production planning.
• Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and relevant safety and quality requirements; automotive manufacturing experience is an advantage.
