Production Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced and responsible Production Supervisor to oversee daily production activities, supervise production staff, ensure production targets are achieved, and maintain high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills and practical experience in a manufacturing or production environment.

Job Description

• Supervise and coordinate daily production activities and workflows.
• Assign tasks and responsibilities to production staff and monitor performance.
• Ensure production targets and schedules are achieved efficiently.
• Monitor production processes to ensure products meet required quality standards.
• Identify and resolve production issues, delays, and equipment-related problems.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of production machinery and equipment.
• Monitor the availability and proper use of raw materials and production supplies.
• Implement procedures to reduce waste, downtime, and production costs.
• Ensure employees follow company policies, operational procedures, and safety regulations.
• Conduct routine inspections of production areas and equipment.
• Maintain accurate production records, reports, and shift handover information.
• Train, coach, and motivate production staff to improve performance.
• Coordinate with maintenance, quality control, warehouse, and other departments.
• Report production performance, challenges, and operational issues to management.
• Recommend improvements to production processes and overall operational efficiency.

Requirements/Skills

• Bachelor’s degree, HND, or OND in Production Management, Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience supervising and managing production teams.
• Good knowledge of production processes, quality control, and workplace safety.
• Ability to operate or understand production machinery and equipment.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and production reporting tools.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental procedures is an advantage.

Pay: ₦100,000.00 per month
