Production Supervisor

About the role

The Production Supervisor is responsible for leading daily production operations to ensure safe, reliable, efficient, and compliant execution, while achieving production, quality, cost, and schedule targets. The role also drives process improvement, equipment reliability, and team development.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily production operations to achieve safety, quality, output, and schedule targets.
• Monitor production performance, downtime, and operational deviations.
• Drive root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions.
• Ensure compliance with operating procedures, QSHE standards, and applicable regulations.
• Maintain strong operational and safety discipline.
• Support shutdown/TAR and environmental responsibilities.
• Coordinate maintenance and reliability improvement activities.
• Support RCA, MOC, equipment modifications, process changes, and new product trials.
• Analyze production data and optimize operating conditions to improve process performance.
• Translate business and operational KPIs into team objectives.

About you

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field.
• At least 7 years of experience in chemical or petrochemical production, including at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Knowledge of chemical process operations, production control, troubleshooting, and process optimization.
• Experience with DCS operation and control systems; experience with DeltaV is an advantage.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make effective decisions in operational situations.
• Leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively lead teams and collaborate across functions.
• Knowledge of Quality, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Management Systems, and applicable ISO standards.
• English proficiency in accordance with the Company's TOEIC requirements (TOEIC score for Bachelor at least 550, Master at last 650).
