Production Supervisor

About the Role :

This is a production management position responsible for overseeing daily and weekly production operations, managing production teams, ensuring quality standards, maintaining safety compliance, and optimizing costs and efficiency in a manufacturing environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Develop and implement daily/weekly production plans based on sales orders and inventory levels; ensure production tasks are completed on time while maintaining quality standards
• Supervise, train and evaluate production staff; create a positive work atmosphere, handle personnel issues, and ensure adequate staffing for each shift
• Strictly adhere to quality assurance protocols; conduct regular inspections, immediately address non-conforming products, and promote continuous improvement plans to reduce defect rates
• Ensure full compliance with occupational health and safety regulations; conduct safety training, perform regular equipment inspections, and maintain a safe working environment to prevent accidents
• Monitor production costs, minimize waste and downtime, optimize resource utilization, and implement lean production principles to improve overall operational efficiency

REQUIREMENTS :

• Bachelor's degree or above Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing or a related field
• 5 years of production management experience, with a background in Pharmaceutical/Pharmacy, Food, FMCG, Tobacco Manufacturing is preferred
• Demonstrated leadership skills, capable of managing large teams, resolving conflicts, and motivating employees to achieve goals
• Proficient in production processes, quality management systems, and safety regulations
• Proficient in Microsoft Office software; strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and coordination skills; able to work under pressure and adapt to changes in priorities
• Fluent in English as a working language, and proficient in Chinese is preferred
