Production Supervisor

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily production activities across the manufacturing floor, ensuring targets are met consistently and efficiently
• Monitor production quality and implement corrective actions to maintain compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements
• Lead, train and motivate production team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability
• Conduct regular health and safety inspections and ensure all staff adhere to safety protocols and procedures
• Manage inventory of raw materials and packaging supplies, coordinating with procurement to prevent production delays
• Identify and resolve production issues promptly, escalating complex problems to senior management when necessary
• Maintain accurate production records and documentation, including production logs, quality reports and incident reports
• Communicate effectively with other departments, including quality assurance, maintenance and logistics, to ensure seamless operations
• Perform routine equipment maintenance checks and arrange repairs to minimise downtime

What we're looking for

• Minimum of 3 years' supervisory or team leader experience in a manufacturing or production environment

• Proven track record of successfully managing production teams and achieving operational targets

• Strong understanding of production processes, quality control systems and health and safety regulations in manufacturing

• Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members

• Problem-solving capabilities and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure

• Proficiency in using production management systems and basic IT skills

• Fluency in English, Malay and Mandarin; proficiency in other local languages is advantageous

• A valid driving licence and willingness to work shift patterns including weekends when required

• Commitment to maintaining high standards of health, safety and environmental compliance
