We are seeking an experienced and proactive Production Supervisor to oversee daily manufacturing operations and ensure production targets, quality standards, and delivery schedules are consistently achieved.

The Role

• Supervise and coordinate daily production activities across the workshop.
• Lead and support teams involved in laser cutting, sheet metal bending, fabrication, welding, and assembly.
• Ensure production schedules are met efficiently and on time.
• Monitor quality standards and ensure all work meets customer specifications.
• Promote and maintain a safe working environment, ensuring compliance with Health & Safety procedures.
• Manage labour resources effectively to maximise productivity.
• Assist with production planning and workflow management.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in manufacturing processes.
• Provide training, guidance, and support to workshop personnel.
• Liaise with management to ensure production objectives are achieved.

About You

• Previous supervisory experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Strong understanding of fabrication, welding, sheet metal work, or general engineering processes.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to motivate and develop a production team.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
• A hands-on approach with the ability to lead by example.
• Good understanding of Health & Safety requirements within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with laser cutting and sheet metal fabrication processes would be advantageous.
