Production Supervisor

About the Role

Supervise daily playground fabrication activities, workers and production progress to ensure jobs are completed according to drawings and production requirements. Support the Assistant Production Manager in maintaining efficient, safe and organized production operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervise daily playground fabrication and ensure workers complete assigned jobs according to production instructions.
• Monitor fabrication activities including cutting, welding, drilling, bending, rolling, grinding and assembly.
• Ensure workers follow the latest technical drawings and work instructions.
• Monitor manpower, attendance, productivity and work discipline.
• Monitor incoming and outgoing materials and fabricated goods, including quantity and basic condition.
• Ensure materials and fabricated components are properly identified and moved to the correct location.
• Monitor movement of goods to QC, storage, HQ, project site or other locations.
• Receive outsourced fabricated items and coordinate their physical movement for QC inspection.
• Monitor workers' Monitor ERP terminal recording, including attendance, job and production time recording.
• Follow up missing or incorrect ERP records and report discrepancies to the Assistant Production Manager.
• Conduct basic production checks and follow up rework required by QC.
• Ensure workers follow safety procedures, PPE requirements and good housekeeping.
• Prepare simple daily updates on production progress, manpower, material issues, rework, goods movement and ERP recording.
• Report production problems, delays or manpower issues to the Assistant Production Manager.

Note: Outsource fabrication follow-up and technical monitoring are handled by the QC Inspector and assigned Technical Designer, with support from the Assistant Production Manager.

REQUIREMENTS

• Certificate / Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, Production, Fabrication or related fields.
• Experience in metal fabrication, welding, manufacturing or production is an advantage.
• Fresh graduates are highly encouraged to apply.
• Basic ability to read and understand technical drawings.
• Basic computer skills; ERP experience is an advantage.
• Responsible, disciplined, organized and willing to work hands-on in a factory environment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Willing to learn and able to work under pressure.
