PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR

JOB SUMMARY:

The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily production operations, managing production staff, ensuring quality standards, meeting production targets, and ensuring health and safety compliance on the production floor.

*KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:*

*1. Production Operations:*

• Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to meet targets

• Plan and assign work schedules and tasks to production team

• Ensure production line runs efficiently with minimal downtime

• Monitor output and ensure production deadlines are met

*2. Quality Control:*

• Ensure all products meet company quality standards and specifications

• Conduct in-line quality checks and report defects

• Work with QA/QC team to prevent rejects and wastage

*3. Team Leadership:*

• Lead, train, and motivate production workers and operators

• Conduct toolbox meetings and enforce discipline on the shop floor

• Evaluate performance of production staff

*4. Health, Safety & Environment (HSE):*

• Enforce strict compliance with safety regulations and PPE usage

• Ensure clean, safe, and organized work environment [5S / GMP]

• Report and investigate incidents / accidents

*5. Reporting & Documentation:*

• Maintain daily production reports, downtime reports, and material usage reports

• Monitor raw materials, ensure proper usage and prevent wastage

• Liaise with maintenance, store, and quality departments

*6. Continuous Improvement:*

• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency

• Reduce waste, cost, and production time

*REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:*

• BSc/HND in Engineering, Industrial Chemistry, Food Science, or related field

• 2-5 years proven experience as Production Supervisor in a manufacturing company [FMCG, Water, Plastics, Food, Solar Battery

• Strong knowledge of production processes and machinery

• Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, ISO, and HSE standards

• Good leadership and supervisory skills

• Ability to work shifts and under pressure

• Proficient in MS Excel and production reporting

Pay: ₦300,000.00 - ₦400,000.00 per month
