Production Supervisor

Job Summary
We are a small wood manufacture business and are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Production Manager to oversee manufacturing operations within our organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring production efficiency, maintaining quality standards, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives. Duties

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily manufacturing activities to meet production targets and quality standards.
• Manage and optimise supply chain operations, ensuring timely procurement of materials and efficient inventory management.
• Lead process improvement projects aimed at enhancing productivity, reducing waste, and increasing overall efficiency.
• Oversee quality control procedures to ensure products meet company specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Implement continuous improvement strategies by analysing workflow, identifying bottlenecks, and applying best practices.
• Supervise and develop production staff, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and teamwork.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations across all manufacturing activities.
