Production Supervisor

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily production activities and workforce.
• Allocate work to production workers based on production requirements.
• Monitor production schedules and ensure timely completion of orders.
• Ensure products are manufactured according to approved designs, specifications, and quality standards.
• Inspect production work at different stages and identify defects or quality issues.
• Coordinate with the Design, Purchase, Stores, Quality, and Installation teams when required.
• Monitor the availability and proper use of raw materials, tools, and equipment.
• Reduce material wastage and improve production efficiency.
• Maintain daily production records, output reports, and worker attendance.
• Monitor machine and equipment usage and report maintenance requirements.
• Ensure workers follow workplace safety procedures and PPE requirements.
• Train and guide new and existing production employees.
• Handle day-to-day production-floor issues and resolve operational problems.
• Monitor worker productivity and maintain discipline within the production team.
• Ensure proper housekeeping and organized storage of materials and finished products.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity, quality, and cost efficiency.
• Report production progress, delays, manpower requirements, and major issues to management.

Preferred Qualifications

• Diploma / ITI / Degree in Mechanical, Production, Manufacturing, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in a production/manufacturing environment.
• Experience in supervising production workers
• knowledge of production processes, quality control, and workplace safety.
• Ability to read basic technical drawings and production specifications.
• Good communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Basic knowledge of MS Excel and production reporting.
