Position Summary:

The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the production department to ensure efficient workflow and optimal productivity. This role includes coordinating activities, managing staff, ensuring quality standards, and implementing safety protocols. The Production Supervisor will work closely with other departments to maintain a seamless production process.

This position is primarily assigned to Night Shift, rotating between Shift C and Shift D on the standard 4-week team rotation; both shifts run Night Shift hours (5:00 PM – 5:30 AM), therefore, the Supervisor remains on nights and is responsible for supervising the staff and operations of whichever of the two teams they are assigned to during that rotation.

There will be orientation training on all ISO certifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production operations, monitor workflow, and coordinate with other departments to meet schedules, quality standards, and minimize downtime.
• Supervise, train, and evaluate production staff, resolving personnel issues and ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Monitor product quality, ensure adherence to standards, and conduct routine inspections to maintain product integrity.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols, conduct safety meetings, ensure OSHA compliance, and investigate accidents.
• Track inventory levels and coordinate with purchasing to maintain adequate, properly stored stock.
• Prepare production reports and maintain accurate records of production activities, staff schedules, and safety incidents.

Required Experience / Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Proven experience in a supervisory role within a production or manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in using production management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
