Production Supervisor

About the role

Tidesolar Philippines Corporation is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to join our manufacturing operations team in Malvar, Batangas. This is a full-time position that plays a critical role in ensuring efficient, safe and high-quality production across our facility. As Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing daily production activities, managing production teams, and maintaining operational excellence in alignment with our company's strategic objectives. This position reports to the Production Manager and is essential to our continued growth and success in the manufacturing sector.

Key responsibilities

• Supervising and coordinating production team members to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest quality standards
• Monitoring production schedules and workflows to meet daily, weekly and monthly targets
• Conducting safety inspections and enforcing compliance with health and safety regulations across the production floor
• Identifying production bottlenecks and implementing corrective actions to improve efficiency and reduce downtime
• Maintaining accurate production records, logs and documentation as required by company policies and regulatory standards
• Training and mentoring production staff on best practices, standard operating procedures and equipment operation
• Communicating with other departments to coordinate production activities
• Conducting performance reviews and providing feedback to team members to support their professional development
• Reporting production metrics, incidents and concerns to senior management on a regular basis

What we're looking for

• 3-5 years of experience in a production supervisor or team lead role within a manufacturing environment

• Strong knowledge of production planning, scheduling and process optimization

• Proven experience in managing and motivating production teams of varying sizes

• Familiarity with manufacturing equipment operation and basic troubleshooting

• Excellent understanding of health, safety and environmental (HSE) regulations and best practices

• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across departments

• Able to speak Mandarin language is a plus

• Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to continuous improvement

• Proficiency in using production management systems and Microsoft Office applications

• With experience in the renewable energy or solar manufacturing sector is an advantage
