Production Supervisor

• Supervise day-to-day production of sofas and furniture in the factory, ensuring daily and weekly production targets are met on time.
• Plan and allocate work across frame making, fabric cutting, stitching, foam/upholstery and final assembly sections.
• Plan fabric cutting to minimise wastage and ensure correct fabric, colour and pattern for each order.
• Track production speed and daily output per section, remove bottlenecks and keep orders on schedule.
• Lead, assign duties to and monitor factory workers and technicians; handle attendance, overtime and shift discipline.
• Check quality at every stage (frames, finishing, foam, fabric and stitching) and make sure finished products match approved designs and customer orders.
• Coordinate with the sales and showroom teams on customer orders, delivery dates and custom/made-to-order requirements.
• Monitor consumption of raw materials (fabric, foam, frames, paint and accessories), control wastage and raise material requests in time.
• Ensure machines and tools are maintained and used safely; enforce factory health and safety rules.
• Prepare daily production reports covering output, pending orders, material usage and issues.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Any diploma or degree (engineering not required); proven hands-on experience in sofa/upholstery production is essential.
• 5+ years supervising production in a sofa, upholstery or furniture factory; Gulf experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of fabric selection, cutting, stitching, foam and upholstery work, plus basic understanding of steel/wooden sofa frames.
• Experience managing production speed and daily output targets, and reducing fabric wastage.
• Able to read furniture drawings and measurements and translate them into production instructions.
• Strong leadership skills to manage a multinational workforce.
• Communication in English required; Arabic, Hindi or Urdu is an advantage.
• Basic computer skills (Excel/production reporting); ERP experience is a plus.
• Transferable Iqama preferred for candidates already in Saudi Arabia.
