Key Functions

Production Supervision

• Supervise day-to-day production activities within the assigned production area
• Provide direction and support to production team leaders and workers
• Ensure production tasks are completed according to operational requirements
• Monitor workflow and productivity across the production team
• Support the Production Manager in maintaining consistent production performance

Team Coordination

• Coordinate production teams to ensure smooth operational workflow
• Assist in allocating labour and operational resources across production activities
• Ensure production teams understand daily priorities and expectations
• Encourage teamwork and collaboration within production teams
• Support team members in resolving operational challenges

Operational Monitoring

• Monitor production processes to ensure operational procedures are followed
• Identify workflow disruptions or inefficiencies within production activities
• Provide feedback to management regarding operational performance
• Assist in maintaining organised and structured production processes
• Ensure operational activities align with production plans

Production Performance

• Assist in monitoring production output and performance targets
• Ensure production teams maintain productivity and efficiency
• Identify opportunities to improve workflow and production efficiency
• Support initiatives that enhance operational performance
• Assist in maintaining awareness of production risks or challenges

Quality and Operational Standards

• Ensure production teams follow operational procedures and standards
• Promote consistency in production practices and working methods
• Assist teams in maintaining structured and organised production activities
• Encourage attention to detail across production tasks
• Support operational compliance within the production area

Health and Safety

• Ensure production teams follow workplace health and safety procedures
• Promote safe working practices within the production environment
• Identify safety risks within production areas
• Report hazards or safety concerns to management
• Support the implementation of safety improvements where required

Cross Department Coordination

• Work closely with maintenance, quality, and operational teams
• Support coordination between production and other operational departments
• Assist in resolving operational challenges affecting production
• Ensure communication between departments remains clear and effective
• Promote cooperation across operational functions

Process Improvement

• Support initiatives aimed at improving production efficiency
• Encourage teams to follow improved operational processes
• Assist in identifying opportunities for workflow improvements
• Support implementation of operational improvement initiatives
• Promote continuous improvement within the production environment
