Job Summary:

The Production Supervisor will oversee daily production activities to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the production line. This role involves managing and coordinating production teams, ensuring safety standards are met, maintaining quality control, and meeting production targets. The ideal candidate will also have knowledge of SAP, Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and other industry-related best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of production workers to ensure smooth operations.
• Monitor production processes to ensure products meet quality standards and specifications.
• Maintain production schedules to meet deadlines.
• Ensure adherence to safety regulations and company policies in all production activities.
• Identify and resolve production issues or delays in a timely manner. • Train new employees and provide ongoing training to ensure competency and skill development.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of production equipment.
• Report daily production activities, output, and any issues to management.
• Collaborate with other departments (e.g., quality control, maintenance) to improve production efficiency.
• Maintain inventory of raw materials and finished goods.
• Conduct regular inspections of the production area to ensure compliance with safety and cleanliness standards.
• Implement and enforce quality assurance practices to reduce waste and defects.
• Prepare and maintain detailed reports on production activities, issues, and outcomes.
• Utilize SAP for production tracking, reporting, and inventory management.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing principles to improve productivity, reduce waste, and streamline processes.
• Apply 5S principles to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient production environment.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field (preferred).
• Proven experience as a Production Supervisor or in a similar role. • Strong leadership and team management skills.
• In-depth knowledge of production processes, equipment, and industry best practices.
• Proficiency in SAP for managing production processes and reporting.
• Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing techniques to optimize processes and minimize waste.
• Knowledge of 5S principles and their practical application in a production environment.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills. • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure.

Working Conditions:

• Full-time position.

• May require shifts or weekend work based on production schedules
