Production Supervisor

Job Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead Technicians, Assistant Supervisors, Line Leaders, Manipulants, Material Handlers and Production Operators.
• Plan, organize and control daily production activities according to the production schedule and customer requirements.
• Monitor production output, machine utilization, manpower allocation and overall shift performance.
• Ensure effective utilization of manpower, machines, materials and other production resources.
• Ensure Production Orders are completed according to the required quantity and schedule.
• Monitor WIP, bottlenecks, machine downtime and production constraints to ensure timely Production Order fulfilment.
• Take appropriate corrective actions to recover production shortfalls and minimize delays.
• Ensure completed Production Orders are submitted on time for closure.
• Ensure products produced comply with approved specifications, quality standards and customer requirements.
• Monitor rejection, scrap, rework and defect trends and initiate appropriate corrective actions.
• Work closely with QC/QA to resolve quality issues and prevent recurrence.
• Ensure proper adherence to approved process parameters, work instructions and inspection requirements.
• Plan and allocate manpower according to production requirements and machine loading.
• Monitor labour productivity, attendance, discipline and work performance.
• Identify manpower constraints and recommend appropriate actions to management.
• Coach and develop Line Leaders and production personnel to improve performance and work discipline.
• Monitor machine performance, material consumption and production processes.
• Coordinate with Maintenance and Engineering to resolve machine, mould and process-related issues.
• Ensure proper material handling, identification and usage to minimize material loss and stock variance.
• Monitor process abnormalities and ensure timely escalation and corrective action.
• Ensure SAP transactions related to production activities are completed accurately and on time.
• Verify production quantity, material consumption, rejection, downtime and other relevant production records.
• Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Superior from time to time.

Pay: RM2,300.00 - RM3,400.00 per month

• Plastics injection moulding: 3 years (Required)
