Production Supervisor

About the role

The Production Supervisor is responsible to manage designated team, production line and material resources to ensure full compliance to QFI and Nestlé standards. The role has a shared responsibility of tasks together with other Departments (internal and external customer) to ensure a low cost, highly efficient and sustainable operation.

Key responsibilities

• Generates and issues instructions to Production staff.
• Facilitates execution of production instructions by allocating appropriate resources.
• Controls cost of production by efficient management of available resources as per standards and safeguarding quality and safety of people and products.
• Ensures product and process compliance in adherence to regulatory compliance by issuing instructions and reviewing or monitoring relevant KPIs.
• Ensures work place safety and effective communication of Safety, Health and Environment to all team members.
• Leads and initiates the development and implementation of the FSMS requirements.
• Measures, analyses and controls the: line efficiency, material usage and productivity variance by using available systems and tools (SAP).
• Reviews process failures and executes continuous improvement activities by identifying opportunities, accessing proposals and implementation.
• Coaches and mentors the members of the team by facilitating meetings and trainings to increase productivity and efficiency.
• Trains the team on manufacturing process, technology and standard operating procedures.

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or other related courses or at least 3 years of experience as Production Supervisor in a manufacturing company.
• Good moral character.
• Strong leadership, decision making and good analytical skills.
• Keen observer.
• Team player and can handle work pressure.
• Excellent in verbal and written communication skills.
• Physically and mentally fit.
• Able to work efficiently in any shifts.
• Can work with extended hours.
