Production Supervisor

Job Summary

The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily production operations, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and according to quality standards. The role supervises production staff, coordinates schedules, monitors productivity and ensures materials and resources are available to meet project deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and oversee daily production operations to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and on schedule.
• Plan and coordinate production schedules, manpower, materials and equipment to meet project deadlines.
• Prepare and distribute the Production Process Form to relevant departments for fabrication.
• Arrange and coordinate daily installation schedules.
• Monitor production quality and implement quality control measures to minimize defects.
• Ensure materials, machinery and tools are available and properly utilized while minimizing waste.
• Maintain accurate production, inventory and work progress records.
• Ensure production staff follow company procedures, quality standards and workplace safety requirements.
• Maintain a clean, tidy and organized factory environment while ensuring factory safety and security.

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Diploma or Certificate in Engineering, Manufacturing, Construction or a related field.

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a production or supervisory role, preferably in the construction, steel fabrication or roller shutter industry.

• Strong leadership and team management skills.

• Able to read and interpret production drawings and specifications.

• Knowledge of production processes, quality control and workplace safety practices.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

• Good communication skills and able to coordinate effectively with different departments.
