Production Supervisor

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily production activities, including panel cutting, edge banding, CNC, drilling, assembly, chair fitment, and packing.
• Allocate manpower across production sections and ensure achievement of daily production targets.
• Monitor production progress and ensure timely completion of orders as per committed delivery schedules.
• Ensure product quality as per approved drawings, BOQ, dimensions, specifications, and finishing standards.
• Coordinate with Stores, Purchase, QC, Packing, and Dispatch teams to ensure smooth production operations.
• Monitor material consumption and minimize wastage, rejection, rework, and damage.
• Ensure proper utilization of machines, tools, equipment, and manpower.
• Identify production bottlenecks, material shortages, and machine breakdowns, and take timely corrective action.
• Maintain daily production reports, order-wise status, manpower records, and pending-job details.
• Ensure proper housekeeping, material storage, workplace discipline, and compliance with safety procedures.
• Prioritize urgent orders, pending items, and snag/rectification materials as per delivery commitments.
• Report production performance, delays, and operational issues to the Production Manager on a regular basis.

Qualification & Experience

• Minimum 12th pass, ITI, or Diploma; a technical qualification is preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in furniture or modular furniture manufacturing.
• Practical knowledge of cutting, edge banding, CNC, drilling, assembly, and packing processes.
• Good manpower handling, production coordination, and problem-solving skills.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• Achievement of daily production targets.
• On-time completion of production orders.
• Reduction in material wastage, rejection, and rework.
• Product quality and effective manpower utilization.
• Proper housekeeping, safety, and production reporting.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
