Production Supervisor

We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Production In-charge to oversee our Mild Steel (MS) flange manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive floor experience handling raw material planning (MS plates / forgings), flame/plasma cutting, machining (CNC/VMC/conventional lathes), drilling (PCD patterns), and quality assurance in line with standard dimensional norms (ASME/ANSI B16.5, BS 10, IS 2062, DIN/EN).

You will be responsible for meeting daily production targets, optimizing cycle times, controlling scrap/rejection rates, and managing shop-floor operators and machinists.

Key Requirements (One Line): 4+ years of hands-on shop-floor experience supervising Mild Steel (MS) flange production—including plate profile cutting, CNC/conventional turning, PCD drilling, serration, and dimensional inspection to ASME B16.5, BS 10, and IS standards.

Key Competencies

• Flange Standards & Tolerances: Deep working knowledge of ASME B16.5 (Classes 150–600), BS 10 (Tables D/E/F), IS 2062/6392, and DIN/EN specs for SORF, BLRF, and WNRF flanges.
• Machining & Tooling Setup: Practical expertise in tool selection (inserts, drills, boring bars), cutting speeds/feeds for mild steel, and programming/operating CNC lathes, heavy conventional lathes, and radial drills.
• PCD & Layout Accuracy: Ability to calculate pitch circle diameters (PCD), indexing, hole layouts, and nesting patterns to maximize plate yield and minimize cutting scrap.
• Stage-Wise Quality Inspection: Proficiency with precision measuring tools (vernier calipers, micrometers, height/pitch gauges) and inspecting raised face (RF) serration finish standards.
• Shop-Floor Leadership & Labor Control: Strong track record in delegating work, balancing line capacity, maintaining shift discipline, and resolving operator machine-level bottlenecks quickly.
• Safety & Scrap Management: Enforcing shop-floor safety protocols for heavy plate handling, crane usage, chip removal, and maintaining strict control over rejection and burning losses

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
