PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR

• Execute daily and weekly production schedules and ensure production targets are achieved.
• Ensure the availability of raw materials, components, manpower and machinery before production starts.
• Manage manpower, including work schedules, shift arrangements, attendance, discipline and daily performance.
• Train, guide and mentor production operators on SOPs, work instructions and safe working practices.
• Monitor production output, productivity and product quality to ensure compliance with company standards.
• Identify and troubleshoot production issues, quality problems and machine breakdowns, and coordinate corrective actions with relevant departments.
• Ensure employees comply with Occupational Safety & Health requirements, PPE usage and workplace safety procedures.
• Lead and maintain 5S practices within the production area.
• Prepare daily production reports covering output, downtime, productivity and critical issues.
• Coordinate with Process Engineering, Quality Control, Maintenance and other departments to resolve production and technical issues.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity, efficiency, quality and cost performance.

Requirements

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management or a related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience is preferred.
• Good understanding of manufacturing processes and production operations.
• Experience in operating or managing factory machinery/equipment is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S and ISO practices will be an added advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic production reporting.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work under pressure, manage a team effectively and work collaboratively with other departments.
• Firm, disciplined and responsible with a strong focus on safety, quality and productivity.
