Production Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and coordinate the manufacturing of products and parts in compliance with company goals and objectives.
• Oversee a workforce of employees in the manufacturing department.
• Manage and evaluate machine resources to ensure productivity and minimal downtime.
• Investigate and analyze current manufacturing processes.
• Develop and implement strategies to maximize efficiency for the use of material, machinery, and employees.
• Lead the continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure all employees follow industry standard health and safety guidelines.
• Plan, implement annual budgets.

Job Skills

• Experience in leading manufacturing organizations.
• Knowledge in manufacturing processes (fabrication, welding, painting, assembly)
• Knowledge in lean manufacturing methodology
• Strong verbal and written communication skills addressing different levels (shop floor up to Executive Management)
• Ability to learn and keep up with product knowledge.
• Ability to multi-task and stay organized.
• Set ambitious production goals and communicate them to key personnel.
• Provide motivation, support, and guidance to all employees.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years’ experience in manufacturing environment, preferably large product assembly
• 4+ years' experience in a supervisory capacity is preferred.
