Position Overview

The Production Supervisor will oversee daily production operations, quality standards, and team performance at a multi-category manufacturing facility in Long Island.

This is a hands-on supervisory role suited to someone who is comfortable leading teams on the production floor while maintaining operational standards. The successful candidate will act as the bridge between plant management and production staff, taking ownership of production schedules, line performance, team coordination, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production operations and ensure adherence to production schedules and quality standards
• Lead and develop production team members, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
• Monitor line performance, throughput, efficiency, and overall equipment effectiveness
• Troubleshoot production issues and coordinate with engineering and maintenance teams on resolution
• Support batch preparation, material handling, and packaging operations across multiple product lines
• Implement and maintain standard operating procedures and ensure compliance with safety and quality requirements
• Lead or contribute to root-cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives
• Work closely with Production Management on scheduling, resource allocation, and shift coordination
• Support training and development of production staff
• Maintain accurate production records and reporting

Candidate Requirements

• Proven ability to lead and motivate production teams
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Experience in personal care, beauty, or food manufacturing (required)
• Familiarity with safety, sanitation, and regulatory expectations in manufacturing
