Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and result-oriented Production Engineer for Cable Harnessing operations. The candidate will be responsible for managing daily production activities, ensuring product quality, optimizing production processes, and achieving production targets while maintaining safety and efficiency standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and monitor daily cable harnessing production activities.
• Read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams, circuit diagrams, and cable harness drawings.
• Ensure proper wire cutting, stripping, crimping, soldering, connector assembly, and harness routing.
• Monitor production targets and ensure timely completion of orders.
• Maintain quality standards and ensure compliance with customer specifications.
• Coordinate with the Quality, Stores, Purchase, and Design departments for smooth production operations.
• Identify production issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Ensure proper utilization of manpower, machines, tools, and materials.
• Maintain production records, rejection reports, and daily production reports.
• Ensure adherence to 5S, workplace safety, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Required Skills

• Knowledge of cable harness manufacturing and assembly processes.
• Ability to read electrical wiring diagrams and technical drawings.
• Knowledge of crimping tools, wire-cutting machines, stripping machines, and testing equipment.
• Understanding of continuity testing, short-circuit testing, and quality inspection.
• Good problem-solving, communication, and team coordination skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and production reporting will be an added advantage.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
