Production Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:

PRODUCTION OPERATIONS

· Oversee daily production activities and ensure all schedules and targets are met.

· Ensure that all production facilities, machinery, and equipment are safe, functional, and properly maintained.

· Coordinate with the Engineering and Maintenance team or external service providers for equipment repair, calibration, and preventive maintenance.

· Supervise material issuance and utilization, ensuring all requests and withdrawals are properly documented and approved.

· Adjust and approve changes to production schedules when necessary due to out-of-stock items, urgent orders, or equipment issues.

· Monitor and ensure timely production of bulk and made-to-order items.

· Maintain operational discipline and accountability among all production personnel.

QUALITY, COMPLIANCE, AND SAFETY

· Work closely with the Quality Assurance Department to ensure all products meet company and regulatory standards (HACCP, GMP, ISO, FDA, and Halal).

· Enforce adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs), food safety practices, and cleanliness within the production area.

· Conduct regular inspections and ensure compliance with occupational health and safety standards.

· Lead investigations of production errors, discrepancies, and material losses, and implement corrective and preventive actions.

· Ensure that production processes follow all company and statutory regulations.

MATERIALS, INVENTORY, AND DATA MANAGEMENT

· Monitor and coordinate with the Warehouse and Purchasing, regarding material availability and production planning.

· Ensure that all production documents, logs, and system entries are accurate, traceable, and audit-ready.

· Support the Purchasing Department in evaluating and coordinating with suppliers for consistent raw material supply.

· Maintain accountability for any discrepancies or delays in material usage and data recording.

MANPOWER MANAGEMENT AND LEADERSHIP

· Conduct daily manpower planning and verify proper staffing per production line.

· Provide coaching and performance evaluation to all production employees.

· Enforce accountability, discipline, and adherence to standard procedures among team members.

· Conduct regular department meetings to review output, address issues, and align goals.

REPORTING AND COORDINATION

· Ensure complete and timely submission of all required production reports to the President, Accounting and HR Manager.

· Maintain clear communication with QA and Warehouse for operational coordination.

· Record and submit daily output, variances, downtime, manpower, and consumption reports.

· Ensure accuracy and transparency of all submitted data and system reports.

· Uphold accountability for report accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.

COST CONTROL AND CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT

· Monitor material usage, production efficiency, and cost per unit.

· Identify and recommend cost-saving measures while maintaining quality and productivity.

· Implement process improvements and efficiency enhancement initiatives.

· Ensure strict accountability for production errors, wastage, and material losses.
