Production Supervisor

About the role

Tosen Foods Inc. is seeking a motivated and experienced Production Supervisor to join our dynamic team in Meycauayan City, Bulacan. As a Production Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the efficient and effective operation of our manufacturing processes, ensuring we meet our production targets and maintain the highest standards of quality and safety.

What you'll be doing

• Manage and supervise a team of production workers to ensure timely and accurate completion of production targets
• Monitor and analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement cost-effective solutions
• Ensure strict adherence to quality control protocols and safety policies to minimize wastage and maintain a safe work environment
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including logistics, maintenance and quality assurance, to optimize production workflows
• Provide hands-on training and development to production staff to enhance their skills and productivity
• Maintain detailed records and documentation related to production activities
• Communicate effectively with management to provide updates on production progress and challenges

What we're looking for

• Graduate of BS Food Tech, Chemical Engineering, Food Science related courses.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a supervisory role within a food manufacturing or production environment, preferred canned food manufacturing industry.
• Strong understanding of production processes, quality control, and inventory management
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think critically and find innovative solutions
• Strong leadership and team-building abilities, with a proven track record of motivating and developing production teams
• Proficient in data analysis and reporting, with the ability to interpret and act on production metrics
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with cross-functional teams
• Strong knowledge of workplace health and safety regulations and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment, food manufacturing standards- GMP, HACCP and SSOP.
