Production Supervisor

Brunsell Lumber & Millwork is a family-owned & long-standing building materials supplier serving builders and contractors across south-central Wisconsin. At our Mt Horeb Components Plant, we build roof trusses, floor trusses, and wall panels that go straight to local job sites. We're looking for a hands-on Production Supervisor to lead our production crew and help us keep growing.

What You'll Do

• Lead, schedule, and support production crews on the roof truss, floor truss, and wall panel lines
• Hit daily production targets for output, quality, and on-time completion to support delivery schedules
• Enforce safe work practices, run safety huddles, and make sure every crew member goes home safe
• Train new and current team members on equipment, build standards, and quality checks
• Coordinate with design, scheduling, maintenance, and shipping so jobs move smoothly from the floor to the truck
• Track labor, material use, and production data, and flag problems early
• Handle attendance, coaching, and performance conversations fairly and consistently
• Drive continuous improvement: reduce waste and rework, improve flow, and keep the plant clean and organized

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of supervisory or lead experience in a manufacturing or production environment
• Experience in truss, wall panel, or wood products manufacturing is a strong plus
• Experience with MiTek software, including MiTek Management, ShopNet, and MiTek Production tools, is strongly preferred
• Ability to read truss and panel drawings, or willingness to learn quickly
• Strong communicator who can lead by example on the floor
• Working knowledge of OSHA safety practices
• Comfortable with basic computer tools (email, spreadsheets, production software)
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a plant environment with seasonal temperatures
• High school diploma or GED required. Safety certifications are a plus.

Pay: $62,500.00 - $75,400.00 per year
