Production Supervisor

Anta Electric, Inc, a growing woman-owned contract manufacturer located in Clifton Park, NY and Cedar Knolls, NJ, is seeking a Production Supervisor. This is a 2nd shift position of 2:00PM-10:30PM.

Job Overview

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide daily leadership of all Production employees ensuring work is completed in a timely, efficient manner in an effort to support the Production schedule provided by Planning.

· Follow each job through all manufacturing areas

· Ensure customer commitments are planned and executed effectively

· Keep Production Manager updated on job status including any bottlenecks

· Work closely with Quality and Engineering to ensure standards are met or exceeded and documentation provided is appropriate for the job being completed

· Work with Engineering to have documentation updated as required

· Interface with Quality and Engineering to discuss tooling or fixtures needed to perform work as necessary

· Work closely with Engineering on required documentation needed for Production

· Understand material shortages and report any roadblocks that will delay Production

· Participates and provides status updates in the daily Production meeting and participates in other meetings as required

· Understands IPC standards and follows this standard when directing personnel

· Works with Production Manager to coordinate workload moves

· Provides accurate, clear and timely information

· Other Tasks as assigned by the Production Manager

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

· 3+ years in a Manufacturing/Supervisor environment preferred

· Must be able to work in a team environment

· Excellent organizational and time management skills

· Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while producing a Quality product

· Ability to Execute workload and supervise effectively

· Flexibility to work overtime as needed

· Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast paced environment

Ability to successfully work with multiple departments in an effort to achieve customer satisfaction

Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
