Production Supervisor

Job Responsibilities

• Lead and manage daily production activities to ensure production targets, quality requirements and delivery schedules are achieved.
• Arrange manpower, work assignments and production activities according to the daily production plan.
• Monitor production output, efficiency, product quality and work progress, and take timely action when abnormalities occur.
• Ensure operators follow work instructions, SOPs, quality requirements and safety procedures.
• Conduct on-the-job training for new operators and provide guidance to team members to improve their skills and performance.
• Coordinate with Quality, Engineering, Warehouse and other departments to resolve production and quality issues.
• Maintain good housekeeping and ensure 5S/6S requirements are properly implemented in the production area.
• Monitor attendance, discipline and work performance of production operators.
• Assist in production improvement activities to improve productivity, quality and operational efficiency.
• Complete production records, reports and other documentation accurately and on time.
• Perform other production-related duties assigned by the Production Manager/Supervisor.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or above in any relevant field.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply; prior experience in a manufacturing environment is an added advantage but not required.
• Able to communicate effectively in Chinese, Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Good communication, coordination and interpersonal skills.
• Strong sense of responsibility with a hands-on working attitude.
• Good organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Willing to learn and able to work effectively in a team environment.
• Able to lead and coordinate production operators to achieve daily production targets.
• Willing to work in Ulu Tiram, Johor.
